About Us

Core Life Cancer Wellness was created to address the comprehensive needs of individuals seeking a holistic approach to enhancing their quality of life following a cancer diagnosis. This initiative stemmed from Robin’s fusion of her 25-year experience as a physical therapist with the integration of massage therapy and wellness coaching, resulting in a distinctive client-centered program.

While undergoing traditional treatments such as chemotherapy, Herceptin, and surgery, Robin simultaneously embraced complementary therapies including acupuncture, supplements, yoga, nutritional adjustments, and meditation to support her body. Since 2011, Robin has been medication-free for breast cancer and continues to flourish, maintaining a disease-free status for over a decade. Recognizing a disparity between medical care and post-diagnosis well-being, Robin aims to bridge this gap.

Robin earned her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Boston University’s Sargent College of Allied Health in 1992. She has held positions as a physical therapist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Children’s Memorial Hospital (Lurie), Arlington Pediatric Therapy, and Lake Forest Integrated. Throughout her career, her pursuit of continuing education has centered on enhancing strength, optimizing alignment, and restoring functional mobility. In 2016, Robin obtained certification as a wellness coach through Wellcoaches.

Driven by a fervent commitment, Robin is dedicated to aiding individuals in crafting personalized plans to increase energy, strength, alignment, balance, and mindset, ultimately fostering a vibrant quality of life.

Robin celebrated 15 years after her diagnosis with cancer by embarking on a 1,500-mile bike ride over the summer of 2023. She relishes walks or bike rides in nature with her husband, Mike, and their two adult children. Often, she can be spotted listening to various podcasts while strolling with her dog, Jasper.
